How does the navy determine there recruiter office size?
I am trying to find out what determines the size of the office whether it is a small, med, or large area office. Not the actually size of the office but the navy classification. Is is by area or amount of people or what? And if so could you give me examples of each category
thank you for the info.
RAF (Recruiter Assignment Factor) is detemined by population. For each 100,000 18-25 yo males living in the Recruiting offices area (usually assigned by county) the assignment is one recruiter. The 18-25 yo's are considered the "prime market" meaning the most desirable to recruit.
Each Recruiting district can be as little as one state or as large as 3.
Each recruiting district can have as many as 10 zones. All going by population of the prime market.
A Small station is one recruiter.
A large station will have 2-3 recruiters and one RINC (Recruiter in Charge).
